Hi everybody!

My name is Vacheslav Starikov as you can see above and i’m a web developer.

I live in Simferopol, Ukraine. This city contributes one’s mite to the world’s IT progress. Here are located over 30 companies specialized in software development. So, I think it’s worthy of respect.

I work at YesSoftware and ExtenSoft companies. At YesSoftware our team primarily develops CodeCharge Studio – a magic tool for building database-driven web applications. My field of activity is IDE dialogs, HTML templates, CSS, Web-standards, XSLT, JavaScript. At ExtenSoft we develop Artisteer – a power theme generator for making themes for different blog and CMS systems, like WordPress, Drupal, Jumla and so on. There I develop an export for CodeCharge Studio, so that CodeCharge Studio in conjunction with Artisteer should create a nice database-driven web applications in several programming languagies like PHP, Perl, C#, Java and even ColdFusion =)

In general, my area of interest is a CSS-based web design, web applications, Ajax technology, different JavaScript libraries like JQuery and YUI, WordPress, Drupal, MySQL and so forth related with today’s web.

I work in IT since 2000. First five years i developed accounting applications at Chizh company. At Chizh i developed in Visual FoxPro, Delphi + Firebird, JScript ASP + MS SQL Server. Immediately, after Chizh I got a job at YesSoftware, where I work to this day.
